Mysterious Midnight Scratches on My Arm and Door

I need advice on a strange incident. Last week around 1 a.m., during heavy rain, I opened my kitchen back door. Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my arm. With my flashlight, I saw three deep, bleeding scratches. Minutes later, I sat down and felt another pain on my lap. There were three more identical marks. My wife and I prayed and a pastor friend said it was an attack by a marine spirit. Today, I found the same three scratches on the kitchen door as I had on my body. Has anyone experienced this? What could be causing these marks? Any advice or shared experiences would be appreciated.
