Emmanuel Owen Completes Four-Year Move to FC Utrecht
FC Utrecht has secured Nigerian-born winger Emmanuel Chigozie Owen on a permanent four-year contract. Owen joined from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen after drawing interest from several clubs. He said he felt “a warm vibe” on his first visit and believes his strength on the ball and creativity will fit Utrecht’s long-term plans. Owen added he is focused on adapting quickly, playing as much as possible and developing at both Jong FC Utrecht and in the Eredivisie.
