APC Convention: Defence Minister Musa Pledges Tight, Preventive Security for March 27–28, 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) will hold its national convention on March 27–28, 2026. Defence Minister Christopher Musa says security will be tight to protect delegates and guests. Musa, who chairs the 2026 APC National Convention Security Sub-Committee, spoke at the committee’s inaugural meeting in Abuja. He promised a clear, preventive security plan to keep the event smooth and safe. He noted the convention will draw thousands of delegates, party leaders, officials, and observers from across the country and beyond. He said the team will identify threats early, coordinate responses ahead of time, and uphold high standards befitting a ruling party.
