A Pakistani man living in Nigeria has praised the warmth and respect he receives from Nigerians as a foreigner. He said speaking Pidgin helps him connect more naturally with people. According to him, Nigerians often become even friendlier when they realise he can communicate in Pidgin. He also asked viewers if they could tell from his voice alone that he is not Nigerian.
