American filmmaker Tyler Perry says he does not plan to get married because of the financial fallout he has seen from divorce. Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Perry said he has no issue with love or marriage itself. However, he said several successful people he knows lost their wealth after divorce. “It’s not the marriage that bothers me. It’s the divorce,” Perry said, adding that he prefers to remain free.
