JUSUN Demands Justice After Armed Men Machete Adamawa Area Court Judge
The Adamawa chapter of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria has condemned the alleged machete attack on Dauda Hamman, a presiding Area Court judge in Mayo-Inne, Fufore Local Government Area. The union said armed men suspected to be linked to a case before the judge attacked him inside the courtroom. It described the incident as a grave assault on the justice system. JUSUN called on security agencies to arrest and prosecute the attackers. It also urged the government to provide stronger protection for magistrates and Area Court judges, especially those serving in rural communities.
