Shallipopi Accuses Dapper Music CEO of Forging Signature on Contracts
Nigerian singer Shallipopi has accused his former music executive, Dapper Music CEO Damilola Akinwunmi, of forging his signature on major contracts. Shallipopi alleged that he signed only a management deal in 2023, but his signature was later used on a 10-year distribution agreement and a deal with an international music company. He also claimed that his catalogue was sold to a foreign company without his consent. The singer alleged that money received from the deals was withheld from him. He has called on the EFCC and other authorities to investigate the claims. The allegations have not been independently verified, and Dapper Music's response was not included.
