Kano Pillars Hand Doma United First Defeat in 4-1 NPFL Victory
Kano Pillars ended Doma United’s perfect start to the NPFL season with a commanding 4-1 win at the Sani Abacha Stadium. Abdullahi Musa opened the scoring before Rabiu Ali recovered from a missed penalty to make it 2-0. Doma United pulled one back through Sadiq Rilwan after the break, but Ahmed Musa and Nasiru Salihu added late goals for Pillars. Coach Daniel Ogunmodede said his side prepared thoroughly for a Doma team that had won its first three matches without conceding. He added that fresh midfield and attacking substitutions helped Pillars regain control after conceding in the second half.
