Falconets Hold China to Goalless Draw at U-20 Women’s World Cup
Nigeria’s Falconets played out a 0-0 draw with China in their second Group F match at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland. Both sides created chances at Arena Sosnowiec, but Nigeria goalkeeper Christiana Uzoma and the defence held firm. The Falconets also had a penalty overturned after a VAR review in the 74th minute. Nigeria are third in Group F with one point and must secure a positive result against New Caledonia in their final group match on Sunday to strengthen their chances of reaching the knockout stage.
