Embracing God’s New Path – April 6, 2026 Devotional
Jesus Community Network presents today’s meditation based on Isaiah 43:19 (ESV): “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Ada Hebert once loved her song “In Humble Adoration” so much that she sang it every morning. Recently, a new worship song captured her heart. This simple story shows how our passions and habits can change over time. God invites us to experience fresh breakthroughs and new ways of seeing Him. We may feel comfortable in familiar routines, but He is always at work, opening paths we didn’t expect. We must stay alert to where He is leading now and follow His guidance. Key Point: God delights in surprising us with new miracles. Prayer: Lord, thank you for your renewed grace in my life. Help me to follow where you are now, not where you have been. Amen.
