Fubara Commissions 12.1km Egwi–Afara–Mba Road in Etche, Pledges More Projects
Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has commissioned the 12.1km Egwi–Afara–Mba Road in Etche Local Government Area. He said his administration would continue delivering projects across the state despite the limited time left in its tenure. The road is expected to improve access between Egwi, Afara, Mba and nearby communities, while easing the movement of farm produce, traders and commuters. The corridor also links communities towards the Imo State boundary and could support agricultural and commercial activity in Etche. Fubara said the state would continue its infrastructure rollout, which includes roads, hospitals, schools and bridges in several local government areas. He also pledged to pursue the provision of a standard medical facility for Etche before the end of his tenure.
