Lagos Tops VAT Collection in H1 2026 with ₦1.81 Trillion: State-by-State Breakdown

In the first half of 2026, Nigerian states and the FCT generated a combined VAT revenue of ₦3.78 trillion. Lagos led the pack with ₦1.81 trillion, followed by Rivers (₦560.04 billion) and Oyo (₦253.67 billion). The Federal Capital Territory ranked fourth at ₦182.93 billion.
