Troops of Operation Enduring Peace discovered a decomposing body on the outskirts of Torok community in Riyom Local Government Area on June 11, 2026. The victim, identified as Toma Chuwang, had multiple machete cuts on his body. Security sources say Chuwang was attacked while returning from a nearby mining site.
