ESUTH Parklane Gets ₦500 Million Surgical Equipment, Targets Postgraduate Accreditation

Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, Parklane, has received more than ₦500 million worth of surgical and specialist equipment as it prepares for postgraduate accreditation. The equipment includes ventilators, patient monitors, image intensifiers, X-ray machines and operating-theatre facilities. Hospital management said the investment will strengthen complex surgical care and specialist training. ESUTH has also secured 350 postgraduate training slots after accreditation by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. The hospital currently has 126 full-time consultants, 50 part-time consultants, 540 nurses and 130 house officers.
