Manchester United Sell Old Trafford Turf After Reporting £43m Loss
Manchester United are selling 7cm-by-7cm pieces of Old Trafford turf in acrylic display cubes for £125 each, following a full relaying of the pitch during the summer. Season-ticket holders and club members received priority access to the memorabilia. It is the first time the club has sold pieces of the pitch in 14 years. The sale came as United reported a net loss of £43 million for the year ended June 2026, their seventh consecutive annual loss. The club still recorded revenue of £677.6 million and also spent £63.5 million on land for a proposed 100,000-seat stadium.
