PDP Caretaker Committee Reaffirmed; No Suspension Case Filed – National Secretary

At a press briefing today, H.E. Distinguished Senator Samuel Anyanwu, PDP National Secretary, addressed the Appeal Court’s rulings. The court reaffirmed the National Caretaker Working Committee as the authentic leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party. He noted that the other faction suffered defeats in all nine cases at the Appeal Court. He urged all party members to set aside divisions and unite in building PDP ahead of the general election. Senator Anyanwu also clarified that no suspension case was ever filed before the court. As a result, no court action could suspend the committee. He asked the public to treat any claim otherwise as propaganda and fake news.
