My Older Siblings Ignore Me – Should I Cut My Parents Off Too?
I’m the third of four siblings and only close to my youngest. My two older siblings barely speak to us. My parents talk to each child individually but clearly favour the eldest two. They send my oldest sister money every month and even sold property to fund my second sibling’s travel. Meanwhile, my youngest and I only get a quick “How are you?” from them. They also share my personal updates with my older siblings, who don’t like me, and that often works against me spiritually. I’ve decided to stop sharing my life with my parents. My youngest and I rely on each other. I know I won’t inherit anything, but I’m doing well on my own. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
