Busari Warns Flamingos to Stay Focused Ahead of Venezuela Quarter-Final
Flamingos coach Akeem Busari has warned Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team not to underestimate Venezuela in Sunday’s quarter-final at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. Nigeria reached the last eight after a 2-1 victory over Mexico, while Venezuela stunned tournament favourites Germany 1-0. Busari said every remaining team is capable of winning the title and stressed that the contest in Rabat will be decided by which side performs better over 90 minutes. Kick-off is 5:00 pm Nigerian time on Sunday.
