Africa Must Strip Citizenship from Migrants Who Travel to South Africa

The 53 African nations must unite and take firm action against South Africa’s repeated hostility toward fellow Africans. First, all South African diplomats should be expelled and their state and corporate assets seized. Then, every country should impose blanket entry bans on South African citizens. Finally, any African who still chooses to migrate to South Africa should forfeit their citizenship. Allowing travel to a country that openly rejects your presence undermines our collective dignity. Africa deserves respect. These steps will defend our people and send a clear message that institutional contempt will not stand.

Stripping citizenship feels like a disproportionate response that punishes innocent families without addressing the root causes of regional tensions.
