Bauchi Progressives Urge Yuguda to Address His Record, Stop Attacking Tuggar
The Bauchi Progressives Forum has called on former Governor Isa Yuguda to focus on his own record rather than making baseless claims against Foreign Affairs Minister Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar. In a statement by Forum President Comrade Isa Warji, they praised Tuggar’s unblemished service, discipline, and commitment to both the APC and Bauchi State. The Forum dismissed allegations that Tuggar fostered division as false and misleading. They highlighted his work unifying party members, strengthening grassroots structures, and offering strategic leadership amid the state’s challenging political climate. By contrast, the Forum pointed to lingering questions over the management of over N200 billion during Yuguda’s tenure and the forfeiture of properties linked to corruption. They warned that those with unresolved accountability issues lack the moral standing to lecture others and urged Yuguda to refrain from divisive politics.
