Nigeria’s Diversity Should Shine in Culture, Not Crime
Nigeria’s diversity is one of our greatest strengths. We are home to many ethnic groups, languages, traditions, religions, cuisines, music and ways of life. Yet, we also face many forms of crime and poor governance. Corruption, kidnapping, fraud, electoral violence, oil theft, armed robbery and fake products affect people across every region and background. Our cultural differences should inspire creativity, innovation and humanity, not division. Crime and bad governance have no tribe, and building a better Nigeria is a shared responsibility. As we mark Independence Day, we should reflect on the country we want to create and work together to make it real.
