LAWMA, KAI Clear Illegal Street Traders Around TBS and National Theatre

The Lagos Waste Management Authority, working with the Kick Against Indiscipline task force, has removed traders operating along road corridors and walkways around Tafawa Balewa Square, Costain Under Bridge and the National Theatre axis. The agency said the operation targeted unauthorised trading activities that obstruct pedestrian and vehicle movement and contribute to environmental nuisance in the busy areas. LAWMA urged traders to use approved markets and designated trading spaces. It said monitoring and enforcement would continue to keep the affected corridors accessible and clean.
