Tinubu Greenlights ₦3.9 Trillion for 27 Major Road Projects Across 15 States
President Bola Tinubu has approved 27 road schemes valued at over ₦3.9 trillion in 15 states. These approvals aim to boost connectivity and trade across the country. Key allocations include ₦1.8 trillion for the 409 km dual carriageway in Niger State under the tax credit scheme, ₦276 billion for dualising the Ilorin–Ogbomoso Road, and ₦265 billion for rebuilding the Iseyin–Eruwa–Agbesi route in Oyo and Kwara states. Other notable projects cover strategic corridors in Ebonyi, Osun, Lagos, Plateau, Adamawa, Yobe and more. Works Minister David Umahi also announced completion of the first 118 km section of the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Highway at a cost of ₦137 billion. The remaining 164 km is slated for delivery by November.
