Peter Obi Mourns Rev. William Okoye, Hails Him as a Rare Spiritual Leader

Peter Obi visited the family of the late Rev. Dr. William Okoye in Abuja to pay his respects. He described Okoye as a rare spiritual leader whose legacy of faith and service will endure. Okoye served as chaplain of the Aso Villa Chapel under Presidents Obasanjo and Jonathan and founded the All Christians Fellowship Mission. A statement from the mission’s leadership praised him as a faithful servant dedicated to God and humanity. Obi called Okoye his elder brother and commended his life of sacrificial service, integrity and impact on countless lives. He urged Nigerians to honour the late cleric’s memory by living selflessly, loving sincerely and serving others. Responding for the family, Victor Okoye thanked well-wishers for their support. He said his father’s lessons on true greatness and humility will guide their efforts to preserve his values.
