Bala Mohammed Swears In Four Commissioners After Bauchi Cabinet Reshuffle

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has carried out a minor cabinet reshuffle and sworn in four new commissioners: Madaki Ahmad Gololo, Bashir Yau, Bashir Adamu Rishi and Baraya Ibrahim. The changes followed the resignation of some commissioners seeking political offices ahead of the 2027 elections, while two others were removed. Mohammed said the appointments would ensure that local government areas affected by the vacancies remain represented in the State Executive Council. The governor urged the new commissioners to uphold transparency, accountability and due process in managing public funds. They pledged to support the administration’s development agenda and implement government programmes effectively.
