Four University of Lagos graduates have shared the habits and systems that helped them earn First Class degrees, including three graduates with perfect 5.00 CGPAs. Benedict Umeozor stressed consistency, early preparation and using past questions and learning tools to simplify difficult topics. Similoluwa Scott credited self-awareness, limiting distractions and studying with supportive peers. She rose from a 3.5 GPA to become the only First Class graduate in Geosciences. Samuel Badekale relied on a semester-long study timetable and teaching difficult concepts to classmates. Haroun Adebakin emphasised discipline, patience and self-belief. Their shared message is that academic excellence is built through daily effort, practical study methods and a strong support system.
