Finding Healing and Forgiveness After an Abortion
Some people may connect difficult experiences in relationships, marriage, finances or personal growth to past abortions. From a faith-based perspective, I believe healing begins with honest reflection, repentance and prayer. An abortion can carry emotional and spiritual weight for some people. However, it should not be used to shame anyone or to assume that every hardship is a punishment for the past. If you are struggling with guilt or grief, seek compassionate support through prayer, trusted loved ones, faith leaders or qualified mental-health professionals. A difficult past does not mean you cannot build a hopeful future.
