Fans Criticise Michelle Alozie After Super Falcons’ 1-0 WAFCON Quarter-Final Loss to Cameroon

Some fans criticised defender Michelle Alozie online, pointing to her passing, decision-making and disciplinary record. Others argued that the team’s coaching and overall performance, rather than one player, were responsible for the disappointing exit. Nigeria must now turn its attention to the African play-offs as it seeks qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
