Brentford Join Rangers in Race for Super Eagles Defender Ryan Alebiosu
Brentford have entered the competition to sign Super Eagles right-back Ryan Alebiosu, joining Scottish side Rangers in tracking the Blackburn Rovers star. Both clubs sent scouts to watch him in a recent pre-season fixture, though he missed the match due to illness. Alebiosu moved to Blackburn from Belgian club KV Kortrijk last summer for about £500,000. He quickly became a regular at Ewood Park, making 39 Championship appearances with one goal and five assists. The Nigeria international is also attracting interest from clubs in Italy and Germany. In January, Blackburn rejected a €5 million offer from Genoa to secure his services.
