Eric Chelle Names Ozebagbe, Ortega as Olympic Eagles Assistant Coaches
Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has appointed Bright Ozebagbe and Deniran Ortega as assistant coaches for Nigeria’s Olympic Eagles. Ozebagbe is the technical adviser of Ikorodu City, while Ortega is a UEFA-licensed coach and an assistant coach with the Flying Eagles. Chelle said both men are among Nigeria’s promising young coaches. The Olympic Eagles are expected to open camp in Abuja ahead of their November 2026 qualifiers. The National Sports Commission is targeting qualification for the Los Angeles Olympics and a podium finish for Nigeria.
