Team Anambra Arrives in Owerri for National Intermediate Games Zonal Eliminations

Team Anambra has arrived in Owerri, Imo State, for the South-East zonal eliminations of the maiden National Intermediate Games. The 132-member contingent includes 102 athletes and 30 officials. They will compete in football, basketball, handball, volleyball, cricket and beach volleyball events. The zonal eliminations will take place from September 10 to 13, 2026, mainly at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri. Athletes have been urged to stay focused and disciplined as they seek qualification for the national competition.
