Niger Delta Investment Summit to Spotlight Gas, Agriculture, Maritime and Manufacturing
The Niger Delta Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Trade, Mines and Agriculture says its economic and investment summit will hold in Port Harcourt from September 15 to 17. The organisers say the forum will bring together the nine Niger Delta states, the Federal Government, the NDDC, investors, financial institutions and development partners. Its focus includes gas utilisation, agriculture and agro-processing, maritime infrastructure, manufacturing, renewable energy, transport, digital infrastructure and logistics. The chamber said the summit is intended to secure investment commitments, project partnerships, financing opportunities and policy recommendations for the region. Its legal representative also said a court ruling means the event can proceed despite a trademark dispute.
