The review also queried ₦44.38 million allegedly spent from internally generated revenue without prior legislative approval. Dr. Halima Mukaddas was the substantive Chief Medical Director during the period under review. The centre provides specialised treatment for women living with obstetric fistula. The findings raise concerns about whether funds meant for medical supplies, facility upgrades and patient care can be properly accounted for. Authorities and oversight bodies are expected to examine the queries and establish whether procurement rules and financial controls were followed.
