Warri Wolves Captain Hails Valuable Away Draw Against Enyimba

Warri Wolves captain David Joseph says the side’s goalless draw against Enyimba in Sunday’s NPFL Matchday 9 fixture was a valuable result. The Seasiders absorbed sustained pressure in the first half before becoming more adventurous after the break. Joseph said the team’s plan was to stay compact, frustrate Enyimba and exploit counter-attacking openings. He added that Warri Wolves had late chances to claim all three points but were pleased to leave with a second away point of the season. The result lifts Wolves’ position while Enyimba remain below them on the table.
