Kano Police Return Four Recovered Stolen Vehicles to Owners
The Kano State Police Command has handed over four stolen vehicles recovered during operations conducted between August 1 and September 1, 2026, to their owners. The vehicles include a Dangote trailer head, a Toyota Matrix traced through collaboration with police in Lagos, a Hyundai Sonata reportedly stolen from Kaduna, and a Honda Civic stolen in Kano. Several suspects were arrested in connection with the recoveries. Police said the suspects will be charged after investigations are completed, while efforts continue to trace other members of the alleged syndicate. Vehicle owners were advised to use trackers, alarms and secure parking areas, and to promptly report suspicious vehicle transactions.
