Ondo Mourns Afenifere Leader Reuben Fasoranti, Who Dies at 100

With a heavy heart and total submission to God’s will, I announce the passing of elder statesman Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti at the age of 100. He was a respected patriarch whose life was marked by service to Ondo State, Yorubaland and Nigeria. His counsel, commitment to justice and advocacy for good governance will be remembered. I commiserate with the Fasoranti family, the people of Akure Kingdom and all residents of Ondo State over this loss. May his soul rest in peace.
