Ogunbote Urges Plateau United to Stay Grounded After 4-0 Win Over Kano Pillars

Plateau United technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote has warned his players against complacency after their 4-0 NPFL victory over Kano Pillars at the New Jos Stadium. Paul Samson and Ekundayo Ojo put Plateau United two goals ahead before half-time. Samuel Ayanrinde and Nenrot Silas added further goals after the break, handing Kano Pillars their first defeat of the season. Ogunbote said the result was only one step in a 38-match campaign and urged his side to remain focused. Plateau United will face Sporting Lagos in their next league fixture.
