PSG Sweat Over Nuno Mendes Injury Ahead of Barcelona Champions League Clash
Paris Saint-Germain could be without left-back Nuno Mendes for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League match against Barcelona after he was injured during the 3-1 Ligue 1 win over Strasbourg. Mendes came on in the 52nd minute but left the pitch injured late in the game. PSG had used all their substitution opportunities and finished the match with 10 players. His possible absence would be a concern for PSG, especially with Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal in strong form this season. Mendes has earned praise for containing Yamal in previous meetings, and PSG may need a new plan for the Barcelona attacker.
