PA Says Eight Ibadan Hospitals Turned Away Gospel Singer Toluwanisings Before His Death

Nigerian gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, known as Toluwanisings, died on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. His personal assistant, Babadunni Gbolabo, said the singer suddenly slumped and was taken to eight hospitals in Ibadan. In a video shared online, Gbolabo alleged that the hospitals could not attend to him, citing the absence of doctors during an ongoing strike. The family is yet to announce final arrangements and says further decisions will follow consultations.
