No Second Chance: Bimpe Akintunde Rejects Colleague’s Apology, Vows Legal Action Over Daughter’s Photo
Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has dismissed the apology from colleague Folake Flakkyfaj after Folake questioned why Bimpe was posting her one-year-old daughter’s photo online. After Bimpe threatened legal action, Folake deleted her post and wrote that she “didn’t mean to upset” the actress. But Bimpe issued a final warning to anyone who has saved, shared or plans to repost the image. “Apology accepted but… you can call me whatever names you like about me, but keep my child out of it,” Bimpe said. She urged everyone to respect boundaries and protect children on social media. This follows similar incidents where other celebrities, including Warri Pikin and Toyin Lawani, publicly defended their children against online trolls.
