Would You Buy Mixed Powdered Seasoning Cubes Sold in the Market?

Would You Buy Mixed Powdered Seasoning Cubes Sold in the Market? — 1 of 4
1 / 4

I went to the market to buy a few items in bulk and noticed people buying powdered seasoning from a wheelbarrow. The powder appeared to be crushed cubes from different brands mixed together in large bags. The image raised concerns for me about hygiene, storage and possible contamination. What was used to crush and package it? Is it safe to cook with, especially when bits of wrappers may be present? Have you bought or used this type of measured seasoning before?

Would you trust mixed powdered cubes if the seller could clearly explain the brands, storage, and how the powder was handled?

Would clear information alone reassure you, or would sealed packaging still be necessary before buying?

The wheelbarrow setup and large bags make hygiene and storage hard for buyers to assess, especially when different brands are already mixed.

Mixing brands alone may not be the main issue; the bigger concern is whether buyers can know what entered the powder after crushing.

For bulk cooking, I would rather buy sealed cubes or powder from a known package, then crush and mix them myself if needed.
