UNIOFFA Valedictorian Reflects on Perseverance at Maiden Convocation

I delivered this valedictory address on behalf of the pioneer graduating students at the University of Offa’s first convocation ceremony in Kwara State. As the overall best graduating student in Computer Science, I reflected on the sacrifices of parents, lecturers and fellow students. I described how academic challenges, sleepless nights and setbacks taught me to keep learning, correcting mistakes and trying again. I also recalled serving as the first democratically elected Students’ Representative Council president, where our administration introduced student welfare and academic-support initiatives. I congratulated the graduating class and urged them to pursue their dreams with courage, character and determination.
