Tinubu Urges Nigerian Universities to Embrace Technology and Innovation
President Bola Tinubu has urged vice-chancellors to adopt emerging technologies to make Nigerian universities more productive, innovative and impactful. Speaking through the Minister of State for Education at the Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities conference in Ilorin, he asked university leaders to develop practical ideas that can strengthen higher education. Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq also called on universities to use artificial intelligence responsibly while preserving critical thinking, creativity and human expertise. He urged stronger partnerships between institutions and their host communities to tackle societal challenges through research and innovation.
