The Holy Spirit in You: Why Mortality Will Not Have the Final Word
Romans 8:11 teaches that the Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in every believer. The Gospel is not only about life after death; it is also about God’s life transforming us now. Our bodies remain mortal and subject to weakness, but they are not outside God’s redemptive plan. Through the Holy Spirit, believers are called to renew their minds, present their bodies as instruments of righteousness, and live from the resurrection life of Christ. The body is God’s temple and belongs to Him. Though full physical transformation is still to come, Christ has promised to conform our lowly bodies to His glorious body. Mortality, weakness, and death will not have the final word.
