You Were Bought at a Price: Embracing the True Cost of Salvation
Scripture reminds us: “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:20) Salvation was never a cheap giveaway. It cost the Creator His only Son. When Jesus settled our debt, He claimed our loyalty and our lives. To accept His payment but ignore His lordship is to treat His sacrifice as a bargain basement gift. Rejecting the One who rescued you is spiritual treason. Yet, surrender brings mercy, canceled curses, and the gift of the Holy Spirit. In that moment, your path shifts from death to eternal life. If you are ready to submit, pray from your heart: “Lord Jesus, I recognize Your sacrifice and renounce my rebellion. I submit to Your lordship. Wash me, own me, and guide me. Amen.”
