PEBEC Kicks Off Plateau Tour to Boost Investment and Ease of Business
The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council has started engagements in Plateau State to strengthen economic growth and improve the ease of doing business. Council head Princess Zahrah Audu said the visit is part of a nationwide tour to align federal and state reforms. She met with the Plateau State Subnational Ease of Doing Business Council and plans a town hall for private sector operators. The town hall will offer a direct forum for business owners to raise concerns and receive responses from government officials. Sessions include technical discussions and interactive panels tailored to local challenges. Audu highlighted recent tax reforms that exempt individuals earning under ₦3 million and raise thresholds for small enterprises. She also noted new grants for nano businesses, free registration drives to formalise operators, and priority focus on agriculture, mining and tourism.
