Overcoming Fear Through Faith and Courage

Fear can be a natural response to danger or uncertainty, but it should not control my decisions or weaken my obedience to God. Scripture reminds me that God has given me power, love and a sound mind, not a life ruled by fear. Fear of failure, poverty, rejection or people’s opinions can become a snare. Like Joshua and Caleb, I can acknowledge the challenges before me while remembering that God is greater than every obstacle. I will feed my faith with God’s Word, remember His past faithfulness and take the next right step. When fear speaks, I will choose trust, prayer and obedience. God is with me, so I will not be ruled by fear.
