Adamawa College of Education, Hong Seeks Support for Degree Programme Expansion
Adamawa State College of Education, Hong has outlined infrastructure and staffing needs as it prepares for expanded degree programmes under the NCE-Degree dual mandate. During a visit by the governor’s communication, research and documentation team, the college management highlighted interventions including a 3km access road, student hostel projects, 60-capacity buses and a solar-powered borehole. It also cited regular salary payments for staff. The institution said it has produced about 2,100 NCE graduates and 850 first-degree graduates since 2023. Management is seeking further support for fencing, potable water, internal roads, vehicles, additional workers and facilities required to meet accreditation standards.
