Disarm Every Stronghold: A Reflection on Judges 1:7
Today’s devotional reflects on Adoni-Bezek’s downfall in Judges 1:7. After humiliating and disarming seventy kings, he received the same treatment. His own words point to the principle of reaping what one has sown. The lesson is not to use pride, manipulation, cruelty, or domination against others. Such actions can return to us in painful ways. It also offers hope that God can disarm the forces and habits that have caused humiliation or oppression in our lives. Prayer: Father, thank You for Your justice. Permanently disarm every force that has diminished me, and let no weapon formed against me continue to have power over my life, in Jesus’ name.
