FUTMINNA Opens Applications for University Bursar Position

The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of University Bursar. The Bursar is the institution’s Chief Financial Officer and will oversee the daily administration and control of its financial affairs. Applicants must hold at least a Second Class Lower degree in Accounting or a related discipline, belong to a recognised professional accounting body, and have strong ICT skills. Candidates must also have at least 15 years of relevant experience, including five years in a university, and currently hold a position not below Chief Accountant. Applicants must be 59 years old or younger at the time of appointment. The role is for five years and may be extended for one further year based on satisfactory performance. Applicants are required to submit 35 copies of their application and CV, three referee reports, and a 500-word statement on managing a digitalised university bursary department. Completed applications should be sent to the FUTMINNA Registrar within six weeks of the advertisement date. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
